IEP Advocacy Coaching Sessions are 45 minutes long and can be done by telephone or Zoom. Clients will receive a Zoom link before our appointment, regardless of their preference, and must inform me beforehand if they prefer a telephone session.
The client and I will collaborate during the session to prepare for their upcoming IEP meeting. Having reviewed all IEP documents before the session, I may suggest changes to specially designed instruction (SDIs) and accommodations to request at the next IEP meeting. I will advise about how to best advocate for any necessary changes to the IEP documents at the client's next IEP meeting, advise about potential actions to take before the next IEP meeting, advise about steps that may be needed to file a complaint (if needed) and answer any other questions about the IEP process.

IEP Meeting Advocacy is available virtually for clients residing anywhere in the United States whose local education agency allows virtual meeting attendance or as an in-person service for clients whose child is a student at any Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
IEP Meeting Advocacy means that I will meet in person or via Zoom with the client and the rest of their child's IEP team during the client's scheduled IEP meeting. During the IEP meeting, I will support the client and advocate for the specially designed instruction (SDIs) and accommodations the client and I discussed at our last IEP Parent Coaching Session.
This service is an add-on service for my attendance at your IEP meeting. This service is intended for existing clients who have scheduled an IEP Advocacy Coaching Session with me in the past 90 calendar days.

IEP Advocacy webinars are intended to make my IEP Advocacy services accessible to parents struggling in the IEP process, who could use direct support without incurring the cost of one-to-one IEP Parent Advocacy sessions. For this reason, I often include a 15-minute private one-on-one IEP Support Session with each registrant at the end of each webinar.
IEP Advocacy Webinars are also a great low-cost option for potential clients to learn more about how my Parent IEP Advocacy and IEP Advocacy Services may work for their needs.

IEP Advocacy Courses are also aimed at helping parents learn the ins and outs of Special Education Law, the IEP Process & IEP Dispute Resolution.
These courses are typically offered in an on-demand digital format through video lectures and supplemental reading materials.

Every parent needs a little support from time to time! For parents of neurodivergent children, parental support is often lacking as parents struggle to meet their child's unique needs.
As an autistic parent of neurodivergent children, I have a unique understanding of the challenges faced by parents as well as those faced by neurodivergent children. I offer one-on-one parent support sessions for parents seeking to understand their child's behavior and communication with their child's unique needs in mind.
During the Parent Support Sessions, the client and I will work together to identify the child's unique strengths, struggles, and communicating behaviors from the perspective of a person with autism and ADHD. We will discuss parental challenges and concerns and strategize to improve client and child interactions.
